Street Talk

Wow!  It’s been a busy summer!!  Finally finished the two Street Talk segments featuring Cherisse’s Hair Salon and Morgan Hill’s newest restaurant, “The Good Fork” for the latest episode of “Talk of the Town”.

This is a great episode with guest Bill Avilez, the owner of the western-themed home on the corner of Monterey & Watsonville Road.  I hope you find it interesting.Check back soon for our next show featuring another interesting person of Morgan Hill!

 Had a great “Talk of the Town” shoot today at Studio 82!We welcomed a new intern Kristin Larsen (behind the camera)!The show features a local hardwood floor builder and collector extrordinare, Bill Avilez.Also on the show are a couple of great blues musicians from the group Blue Dog.

Enjoy these behind-the-scenes pics of the crew hard at work!.

I bet you’ve driven by his place many times and wondered about the person that lives there and what all those decorations area about!

The pirates sing a shanty.

The latest episode of “Talk of the Town” is now online!  This turned out to be a great show. Teresa interviewed the “Captain of Morgan’s Cove,” Rich Firato, toured his backyard pirate cove and caught Rich and his pirate buddies on film singing a pirate shanty.

This show also includes two “Street Talk” segments highlighting the two, count them, TWO, great Farmer’s Markets we have here in Morgan Hill.

Street Talk – Farmers’ Markets


Getting closer to the final edit for the latest Talk of the Town featuring Rich Firato,Captain of Morgan’s Cove. Lots of great video and pics. Can’t wait to finish!Visited the Cochrane Plaza Farmer’s Market on Thursday to check out what the excitement is all about.

Saturday I’m going to the Farmer’s Market at Depot Street.Both of these spots will be used for the next episode’s Street Talk segments.Should be fun!  Check back soon to see the final version of the show

Morgan’s Cove


We just had a great shoot with Rich Firato, the Captain of Morgan’s Cove!

Jim, Bob, and Larry filmed the interview in Studio 82 in beautiful downtown Morgan Hill and then we headed out to Morgan’s Cove and got a look at Rich’s Pirate Cove. It’s hard to explain in words so I’ll be putting up some pictures soon!

Editing is underway and we hope to have the show up before the end of May. Check for it in the MHAT Channel 19 schedule, on blip or vimeo, or come back here and get all the latest news and links!
